We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:30 a.m. to start the excursion to Rainbow Mountain. We will head to the village of Cusipata at 3339 meters above sea level for approximately 2 hours. Enjoy breakfast, then return to the minivan for a 1-hour drive to the village of Phulawasipata at 4626 meters above sea level, where we will begin a 2-hour hike.
This middle section is gradually uphill and then steep until we reach the spectacular views of the natural mountains. After enjoying this majestic and energetic place, we will finally return for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the village of Phulawasipata. There we will take the minivan for approximately one hour to the village of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch. Finally, we will begin the return journey for approximately 2 hours to Cusco.
