Next, we will drive to the fortress of Ollantaytambo for 30 minutes. Once we arrive in Ollantaytambo, we will visit the interesting town called Last Inca Village, where the urban area was built by the Incas. The town has several water channels, some of which pass underneath the houses. Finally, we will take the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, located at 2000 meters above sea level, for 90 minutes, where we will have dinner at a local restaurant. We will spend the night at a hotel. We recommend going to bed early so you can fully enjoy Machu Picchu the next day.
We will wake up early this morning to be one of the first people to enter the Inca Citadel. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, leave the hotel, and go directly to take the bus to be one of the first to ascend to Machu Picchu at 5:30 a.m. This will allow us to see a spectacular sunrise at Machu Picchu, which is truly a magical and unforgettable sight. We will have a guided tour of 2 to 3 hours where your guide will share the history and point out the best spots for the most incredible photos. After that, you will have free time to explore the urban area on your own (please note that once you leave the Machu Picchu citadel, you will not be able to re-enter on your own).
